Rock Opera Scores in Pontefract Handicap for Fahey Team

Rock Opera landed the GV Co Property Consultants Supports The YCC Handicap at Pontefract, staying on strongly to win the 6f Class 4 contest on good ground.

Alpha Capture, the 3/1 favourite, ran with credit but had to settle for second place, finishing 1¼ lengths behind the winner. Aberama Gold was 4 lengths back in third, after leading into the final furlong, weakened over the last half.
