First World War WWIThe Khaki Cup Final The only FA Cup Final to be played during either of the two World Wars was the one in 1915 between Sheffield United and Chelsea.
Played on the 24th of April 1915 at Old Trafford the match came to be known as the Khaki Cup Final due to the large number of servicemen (dressed in their khaki coloured military clothes) that were in the crowd.
